Job Summary:
The Golf Instructor will be responsible for providing comprehensive golf instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels. The role involves delivering high-quality coaching, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment, and facilitating the development of golfing skills and techniques. The Golf Instructor will also promote the sport of golf, encourage participation, and uphold the values and standards of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct individual and group golf lessons, clinics, and coaching sessions.
2. Develop personalized training programs tailored to the needs and goals of each participant.
3. Instruct and demonstrate golf techniques, including swing mechanics, putting, chipping, and course management.
4. Observe and analyze the performance of students, provide constructive feedback, and suggest corrective measures.
5. Create a supportive and motivating environment to enhance the learning experience for all participants.
6. Ensure the safety of participants by implementing appropriate safety guidelines and practices.
7. Maintain accurate records of lesson schedules, attendance, and student progress.
8. Collaborate with the Head Golf Coach and other instructors to develop and implement training plans and curricula.
9. Stay updated with the latest golf instruction methods, equipment, rules, and regulations.
10. Promote and market golf programs and services to attract new participants and retain existing members.
11. Assist with organizing and coordinating golf tournaments, events, and competitions.
12. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback from participants and their parents/guardians.
13. Maintain a clean and organized golf instruction area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Minimum of three years of experience as a Golf Instructor or Golf Coach.
2. Proven expertise in teaching all aspects of the game of golf, including swing mechanics, short game, and course management.
3. Strong understanding of golf rules, etiquette, and safety practices.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate individuals and groups.
5. Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching techniques to accommodate various learning styles and skill levels.
6. Knowledge of the latest advancements in golf instruction and equipment.
7. Professionalism and integrity, with the ability to represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
8. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various golf facilities, if required.
10. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
11. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the golf instruction programs.
